 The Waterhouse Girl

the waterhouse girl THE WATERHOUSE GIRL was first written some years ago, as the story of Daisy who lost all her hair. Now it's been broadened and deepened, with the addition of an older boy and a whale. The eco theme has also been developed because that's important to Sue - and her brother, who is a Carbon Coach. Sue is very proud of the words on the front cover: "Beautifully written" MICHAEL MORPURGO.

THE WATERHOUSE GIRL: A very powerful book
I have just finished reading this book and I am amazed at the way the author covers so many deep issues in such a calm and positive way.
The book covers parental marriage breakup, moving house and school, bullying and the reasons behind it, alopecia and its impact in addition to environmental issues.  This book should be read by every young person and their parents and their teachers.
10/10 Ms Hampton. Looking forward to the next one.

The Waterhouse girl is an emotional but addictive book. I feel that with some elements in this book I, and many of my friends, can really relate. When I first picked up this book I thought 'right I don't really know if this is my type of book' but when I read the first two chapters I was overwhelmed by the book. And having met Sue (you!) I was truly inspired that somebody could write about their condition like you have. WOW. If I had to put the whole book into one word it would be AMAZING!!!! Thank you for writing this book...
